Cancellation Policy

At Mochilero Adventura, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both parties, ensuring that you have flexibility while also allowing us to manage our resources effectively. Please read the following terms carefully before booking your trek.

1. Cancellation by the Participant

If you need to cancel your trek, please notify us in writing via email at info@mochileroadventura.com. The following cancellation fees apply:

• 25% of the total amount if canceled more than 30 days before the trek.
• 10% of the total amount if canceled between 29 and 21 days before the trek.
• No refund if canceled within 20 days of the trek departure.

Non-Refundable Deposit: A deposit made at the time of booking is non-refundable, as it secures your spot on the trek and covers initial costs.

2. No Show

If you do not show up for the trek on the scheduled departure date without prior notice, no refund will be given.

3. Cancellation by Mochilero Adventura

In rare instances, Mochilero Adventura may be forced to cancel a trek due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, political unrest, or natural disasters. In such cases, you will be offered the following options:

• Full Refund: A full refund of the amount paid, including the non-refundable deposit.
• Rescheduling: The option to reschedule your trek to a future date without any additional charges.
• Alternative Trek: The option to join another trek of similar value, subject to availability.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellation due to unforeseen events, including personal reasons, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions. This will help mitigate any financial losses in case of last-minute cancellations.

5. Partial Trek Cancellations

If, for any reason, you choose to leave the trek early or not participate in certain activities during the trek, no partial refunds will be provided.

6. Force Majeure

In case of cancellations due to events beyond our control (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics), Mochilero Adventura will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the participant. We will, however, do our best to offer alternatives or refunds where possible.
