1. Booking and Payments
Reservation: To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. Full payment must be completed at least 15 days before the trek departure date.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other payment gateways provided on our website. All payments must be made in INR or USD.

2. Trek Participation and Responsibilities
Fitness Requirements: Trekking in the Himalayas can be physically demanding. Participants must ensure they are in good health and physically capable of completing the trek. Mochilero Adventura reserves the right to refuse participation if health conditions are deemed unsafe.
Travel Insurance: All participants are required to have valid travel insurance that covers trekking activities, high-altitude sickness, medical expenses, and emergency evacuations. Proof of insurance must be provided before the trek.
Assumption of Risk: By participating in our treks, you acknowledge that trekking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, illnesses, and adverse weather conditions. Mochilero Adventura will not be held liable for any damages or losses.
3. Changes to Itinerary
Unforeseen Circumstances: While we strive to follow the planned itinerary, unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or government regulations may require changes. Mochilero Adventura reserves the right to modify or cancel the itinerary for the safety of participants.
Delays: Any delays caused by flight cancellations, strikes, or other issues beyond our control are the responsibility of the participant. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers such situations.
4. Responsibilities of Mochilero Adventura
Guides and Support Staff: We provide experienced and licensed trekking guides and support staff who will ensure your safety and comfort throughout the trek. However, participants must follow all instructions from the guides to ensure safety.
Equipment and Accommodation: We provide basic camping gear, including tents and sleeping bags, as part of the trek package. Accommodation in local lodges or campsites will be arranged during the trek, subject to availability.
5. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected during the booking process will be used solely for operational purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
6. Photography and Media Release
Participants agree that Mochilero Adventura may use photographs and videos taken during the trek for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be featured, please notify us before the trek begins.
7. Force Majeure
Mochilero Adventura is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, wars, or pandemics.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sikkim, India.
9. Amendments
Mochilero Adventura reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
